High Flying South London: A Discussion
Only 9.5 miles south of Charing Cross and with fast rail links to central London, Gatwick Airport, and Brighton, East Croydon is one of the UK’s busiest railway stations with 22 million travel-through passengers a year.
Croydon is the UK’s fastest growing economy in terms of annual growth rate 9.3% in Gross Value Added (GVA), and is home to over a thousand digital, creative, and technology companies. Croydon is now a leading business hub for technology companies and is referred to as ‘London’s third city’ and ‘Silicon Valley of South London’. A wide range of other innovative businesses are also moving into the area.
A panel of experts will present their views on Croydon’s emerging growth and infrastructure. After the panellists have spoken attendees will be invited to express views and pose questions, followed by networking with business peers facing similar challenges. A light buffet and refreshments will be provided.
