Business Support and Services

Technology Transfer Project

The Sussex Innovation Centre is proud to announce that after our successful pilot we have been awarded the ESEP Technology Transfer project for 2006/07 and provisionally for 2007/08.

We previously piloted this project to provide specialist support for companies seeking to commercialise their intellectual property.  Support is open to businesses and individuals in East Sussex (excl Hastings and Bexhill).

In partnership with East Sussex Economic Partnership and SEEDA, the Sussex Innovation Centre have developed a Technology Transfer Project to help local companies identify and explore the commercial potential of their Intellectual Property.

For each client, the Innovation Centre will undertake a process of ‘discovery’ to establish need. A menu of specialist services will then be made available to selected companies to help evaluate the potential and to identify routes for profitable commercialisation.  The project will fund some specialist support for selected companies.

For more information and to start the discovery process please contact Paul Jordan on +44 (0) 1273 704424 or email paulj@sinc.co.uk .

This project receives funding from the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) and the East Sussex Economic Partnership (ESEP)
