Providing high level strategic support is a key part of the incubation process.  Whilst producing a formal "business plan" is strongly recommended for most businesses and is a necessity for companies seeking to raise finance, at SInC we regard supporting the process of business planning as a more interactive process involving our full range of support functions.

Incubation Director - mentoring is a key part of the support process at SInC.  Entrepreneurs benefit from having an experienced sounding-board and confidant to help them develop their business strategy.  From the individual mentoring the Director can work with the entrepreneur to tailor access to SInC's internal support team and its external networks and experts.

SInC Support Panel - in addition to providing specialists in specific areas such as finance, marketing and sales, SInC has found that providing an integrated support team is often most beneficial to the entrepreneur.  Entrepreneurs along with their senior managers present their ongoing progress and plans to the SInC Support Board as a way of facilitating an integrated forward strategy.

Accounts & MIS - key to business planning and strategy is effective gathering and presentation of data.  SInC's admin team assist many of our companies in developing their accounts, not just for the VAT returns, but to help provide the information for the company to manage their business effectively. 

Professionals & External Mentors - the Innovation Centre has developed a network of professional advisors and mentors that can provide invaluable input on business strategy and accessing new markets.
